16 May RSVP for our RACE-Approved CE Event on May 24th!
We are excited to announce a free RACE-approved CE event for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians at our clinic on Wednesday, May 24th. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge of veterinary anesthesia and learn from our board-certified veterinary anesthesiologist, Dr. Martin Kennedy.
Dr. Kennedy earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Wisconsin and completed a comparative anesthesia and pain management residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. He has been a board-certified anesthesiologist since September 2015.
During the event, Dr. Kennedy will present two lectures on Anesthesia Plans: A Practical Approach and Troubleshooting Hypotension. Anesthesia is a crucial part of veterinary medicine, and the lectures will provide practical tips on drug selection for various patients and how to detect and manage hypotension during anesthesia.
Before the lectures, food, and drinks will be served at 6 PM, and the lectures will start at 6:30 PM. This event is a great opportunity to learn, network with other veterinary professionals, and enjoy refreshments.
Please RSVP to info@vetdentistwi.com by May 19th, 2023, to reserve your spot. We hope to see you there!

Dr. Honzelka is a 1999 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation he entered small animal practice. Although he enjoyed general practice, in 2006, he was “bitten by the dentistry bug”. He started attending as much dental CE and labs as possible. A few years later, Dr. Honzelka made the tough decision to leave general practice and enter a residency program in Dentistry and Oral Surgery. He became a Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist® in 2015. Dr. Honzelka is a Wisconsin native and worked at Animal Dentistry & Oral Surgery Specialists in the Milwaukee and Oshkosh area.
