Canine and Feline Dentistry, Level 2

**Please note, this course is only available to those who have taken an intro course**

This class is available to DVMs who have completed one of the Introduction to Canine and Feline Dentistry and Oral Surgery classes. This 8-hour class will consist of 4 hours of lecture followed by 4 hours of hands-on wet lab. The topics discussed in lecture will include periodontal disease, dental fractures, an introduction to endodontic pathology, and common extraction complications. The lab will include the basics of open and closed root planning, application of perioceutic products, odontoplasty with bonded sealants of uncomplicated crown fractures, difficult extractions, and surgical removal of root tips. This class will be presented by Steven Honzelka, DVM, DAVDC.

    Refund Policy

    Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email (info@vetdentistwi.com).  Course cancellations are subject to the following refund policy.

    • Cancellations 30+ days prior to the course will be issued a full refund.
    • Cancellations 29 days or less prior to the course – a refund will be issued, minus a 20% administration fee.

     

    Course Cancellation

    If due to unforeseen circumstances, Veterinary Dental Specialists of Wisconsin reserves the right to cancel a course at any time. Any person who has registered for the course will be notified by email at the address noted on the registration. A telephone call will also be made to each registrant for whom a number is available. We will make every opportunity to offer registration in a future class.

    Costs incurred by the registrant, such as airline or hotel penalties, are the responsibility of the registrant. We recommend purchasing trip insurance. Trip insurance policies can potentially cover the cost of tuition, canceled lodging deposits, unused airfare, and other trip expenses in the event that the course is canceled.
