I have worked in ER/critical care and general practice since 2014, after attending veterinary technician school in Illinois in 2012. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and taking trips to my cabin up north. I find great fulfillment in working in a field where I can help improve the lives of pets and their owners.
I have experience in various areas of veterinary medicine, having worked in small and large animal general practices, emergency and critical care, and different specialties. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, and playing cornhole. I’m also passionate about riding horses and am a huge German Shorthaired Pointer enthusiast. I chose veterinary medicine because of my deep passion for caring for animals and providing client education.
For the past four years, I have worked in veterinary medicine, beginning as a lead client care coordinator in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. After gaining valuable experience in this fast-paced environment, I chose to transition into veterinary dentistry, an area I’m passionate about. My love for animals began in my early 20s when I started volunteering with local shelters and rescues, and I soon realized that working with them daily was my dream career. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and our pets. We love hiking, swimming at the lake, and taking long walks by ponds and rivers to immerse ourselves in nature.
I have been a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) for the past 29 years and have always had a passion for dentistry. Outside of work, I enjoy playing volleyball and spending time with my amazing family and friends, especially when it involves Mexican food and margaritas. I love sharing my passion for dentistry with my co workers and educating clients to help maintain happy and healthy oral health for their pets throughout their lives.
I started my career as an EMT emergency department technician for humans before transitioning to general veterinary practice. In my free time, I enjoy various crafts such as knitting, crochet, needle felting, and using my Cricut. When I’m not working, I love hiking, camping, and spending time with my husband, son, and our dogs. I’m passionate about veterinary medicine because it allows me to be hands-on and develop a wide range of skills. I believe dentistry is often overlooked but plays a crucial role in the overall health and well-being of pets. And, of course, I have a deep love for animals.
I transitioned to Veterinary Dental Specialists in March 2024 after spending 6 years in Veterinary Emergency Medicine and Critical Care. I love animals and find this career to be rewarding in many aspects. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking and traveling with my husband and daughter.
