Discolored Teeth
There are several reasons that we see discolored teeth in pets. A few common causes of tooth discoloration can be continued use of certain medications, trauma, infection, or excessive tooth wear.
Discolored teeth can be painful for pets and should be taken to a veterinarian specializing in dental pathology. If left untreated, a discolored tooth can lead to patient discomfort, root damage, and possible damage to the jaw around the bottom of the root on the tooth.
