How We Get Involved in Our Local Wisconsin Community
2023 Greyhound Gala:
This past weekend our team volunteered at the 2023 Annual Greyhound Gala to raise money for Greyhound Pets of America-Wisconsin. We had a great time working with some beautiful greyhounds and raised hundreds of dollars to donate. Greyhound Pets of America is a nationwide nonprofit organization that strives to find the best homes for retired racing greyhounds. Many of these dogs will go through a foster home first, where they will become acclimated to things like patio doors and stairs. They are also spayed and neutered and taught manners as well as how to live in a home as a pet.
Did you know that greyhounds are especially prone to dental disease? Dental disease was the most common disease found in greyhounds according to the University of London Royal Veterinary College, with 39% affected. In this breed, regular cleanings are important to prevent the buildup of plaque and tartar as well as periodontal disease. For more information on greyhounds please visit:

Fromm Petfest:
Catch us at Petfest on September 23rd! Petfest is at Henry Maier Festival Park from 10am-6pm.
We will have a booth where we will be holding a raffle with baskets full of goodies for dogs and cats of all sizes! We will also have pup-cups to hand out to any dogs in the mood for a treat. Continuing Education:
On September 21st, Dr. Honzelka will be hosting a lecture for our referring veterinary partners. We will be focusing on feline gingivo-stomatitis.
