Dental Class for Technicians / Assistants

Explanation of LVD

Learn Vet Dentistry (LVD) is a specialized educational platform focused on advancing the skills and knowledge of veterinary professionals in dentistry. Recognizing the critical role dental health plays in overall animal well-being, LVD was founded to address the gap in dental training often seen in general veterinary practice.

At LVD, the focus is on providing hands-on, practical education that equips veterinary technicians and assistants with the tools they need to excel in dental procedures. Our courses cover essential topics like dental radiography, proper instrument maintenance, scaling and polishing techniques, and effective anesthesia practices tailored specifically for dentistry.

What sets LVD apart is the emphasis on interactive and immersive learning experiences. Each course blends classroom instruction with laboratory practice, allowing participants to refine their skills in a controlled, low-pressure environment. This approach not only builds technical proficiency but also boosts confidence when applying these skills in a clinical setting.

Whether you aim to improve your radiographic accuracy, master sharpening dental instruments, or better understand dental pathology, LVD offers tailored education that directly impacts the quality of care you provide. By empowering veterinary professionals with advanced knowledge and skills, LVD helps create stronger teams, healthier patients, and more successful practices.
